Grabbing people by their shoulders and shaking them until they can prove to me they know what “twink” means
I was listening to a bunch of LGBT+ ppl from Louisiana as a guest for a podcast and the topic of “twink” came up and they more or less were like, “yeah nowadays cishet ppl know saying ‘f*g’ raises eyebrows so they just say 'twink’ when they want to say 'f*g’ but it’s obvious what they want to say when they say the word,” and like, that’s basically it, right. Also they talked about lubed up jockstrap wrestling at a gay bar and how there was a cishet guy that participated because he just wanted to wrestle.
Nodding thoughtfully at this until you say “lubed up jockstrap wrestling” at which point I get so horny I think I hauve Covid
instead of saying "kill myself" or "kill yourself" I have found it much more powerful to say "shit myself/yourself"
shit yourself is so powerful
“I love eating food we grew ourselves from our garden” she says (it’s salsa again)
how do conservatives think talking to children works? if a four year old came up to me and said “i’m a cat!!” i would say “really? what makes you a cat?” and they’d say some shit like “i have claws >:)” and i’d be like “oh wow, you do have claws. but wait, i thought cats had pointed ears!” and they’d say “they DO!!!” and then i’d pull up a picture of an elf and ask “is THIS a cat?” and they’d yell “NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO”
u wouldn’t say “fucking hell, Emily, get it together. this is the real world”

Do Not Let HR do this to you. It is not illegal to talk about wages in the work place. I did and got a 12% raise!
True info. Now let me add something: The power of documentation. (I was a long time steward in a nurses union.)
Remember: The ââEâ in email stands for evidence.
That cuts both ways. Be careful what you put into an email. It never really goes away and can be used against you.
But can also be a powerful tool for workplace fairness.
Case 1: Your supervisor asks you to do something you know is either illegal or against company policy. A verbal request. If things go wrong, you can count on them denying that they ever told you to do that. You go back to your desk, or wherever and you send them an email: âI just want to make sure that I understood correctly that you want me to do xxxxxâ Quite often, once they see it in writing, they will change their mind about having you do it. If not, you have documentation.
Case 2: You have a schedule you like, youâve had that schedule for a while, it works for you. Your supervisor comes to you and says âWeâre really short-handed now and I need you to change your schedule just for a month until we can get someone else hired. Itâs just temporary and you can have your old schedule back after a month.â A month goes by and they forget entirely that they made that promise to you. So, once again, when they make the initial request, you send them an email âIâm happy to help out temporarily, but just want to make sure I understand correctly that I will get my old schedule back after a month as you promised.â Documentation.
[Image ID: Text reading: In the middle of a busy clinic at our practice, I got pulled in by my manager to speak to HR, who must have made a special trip because she lives several states away, and told I was being 'investigatedâ for discussing wages with my other employees. She told me it was against company policy to discuss wages.
Me; Thatâs illegal.
Them: (start italics) three slow, long seconds of staring at me blankly (end italics) UhâŠ
Me: Thatâs an illegal policy to have. The right to discuss wages is a right protected by the National Labor Relations board. I used to be in a union. I know this.
HR: Oh, this is news to me! I have been working HR for 18 years and I never knew that. Haha. Well try not do do it anyway, it makes people upset, haha.
Me: people are entitled to their opinions about what their work is worth. Bye.
I then left, and sent her several texts and emails saying I would like a copy of their company policy to see where this wage discussion policy was kept. She quickly called me back in to her office.
HR: You know what, there is no policy like that in the handbook! I double check. Sorry about the confusion, my apologies.
Me: You still havenât given me the paper saying that we had this discussion. I am going to need some protection against retaliation.
HR: Oh haha yes here you go.
I just received a paper with legal letterhead and an apology saying there was no verbal warning or write up. Donât even take their shit you guys. Keep talking about wages. Know your worth. /End ID]
At one of my old (shit) jobs my boss would continually come have these verbal discussions with me and would never put anything in writing I took to summarizing every discussion we had in email. Like âjust to confirm that you asked me to do X by Y date and you understand that means I wonât be able to complete the previous task you gave me until Z date - 2 weeks later than originally scheduled - because you want me to prioritize this new project.
The woman would then storm back into my office screaming at me for putting the discussion in writing and arguing about pushing back the other project or whatever. At which point I would summarize that conversation in email as well. Which would bring her storming back in, rinse and repeat ad nauseum.
Anyway I cannot imagine how badly that job would have gone if I hadnât put all her wildly unreasonable demands in writing. Bitch still hated me but she could never hang me for âmissing deadlinesâ because I always had in writing that sheâd pushed the project back because she wanted something else done first.
Paper your asses babes. Do not let them get away with shit. If they wonât put what theyâre asking you to do in writing then write it up yourself and email it to them.
Seeing your Baseball Shadow art made me realise I barely see fanart of Shadow wearing pants 💀 (ppl normally just put a shirt or jacket on him)
So can I request Shadow wearing big goth/punk pants? Like the "BIG PANT or BIG JAKT" meme but Shadow is wearing both because he's the ultimate lifeform
i might have gone a little overboard with this one đ§
(this is probably more what you were after! hahaha)

Death is not the end! You may go on to become the skeleton who fucks a hot chick painted onto some dudes harley
another study where I make it vocaloid cuz that last one was too fun
me a few years ago: its so weird how right wingers always wanna blame the âeliteâ given that alot of them are in the global 1% of wealth and therefore almost by definition the same âeliteâ they claim to hate. weird right? lol right wing logic makes no sense
me now: oh my god they mean Jewish people. its always been Jewish people. and the insistence of online leftists to use words like âeliteâ and âcabalâ (to refer to a handful of ultra rich people who dictate a lot of how our lives are run) kinda makes them sound like antisemites too. maybe this whole idea that the world is run by a select few is a gross oversimplification which only serves to reinforce antisemitic stereotypes⊠oh no. maybe i have a lot of shit to unlearn. maybe i need to start vocally defending Jewish ppl. also local community building is the only way out of this
This post has been making the rounds on jumblr and Iâve had a few different reactions so I just wanna weigh into some things here.
First up:
Jews I love you and Iâm so glad that this little thoughtramble I wrote a month ago resonated with so many of you. I hope it helps with educating some people on just how widespread and insidious antisemitism is.
Secondly: Iâm a gentile so Iâm by no means an authority on these things. But a couple fellow gentiles in the notes are saying stuff along the lines of, âbut canât we criticise billionnaires?â
To which I say, watch where you step, cus youâre on thin ice. Iâve learned a litte the past few years and hereâs my conclusions:
- Of course a lot of stuff a lot of billionnaires do is reprehensible. On the left we should absolutely be criticising them! The best way to do this while avoiding antisemitism is to be specific about who youâre criticising, and what for.
- E.g. âThe people running Exxon, Shell and BP have been sweeping climate change under the rug for decades while actively contributing it, they think their profits are more important than sustaining life on earth and thatâs abhorrent. We need better laws and processes to stop them from poisoning the planet.â
- E.g. âElon Musk is a ridiculous manchild whoâs ruining Twitter and endangering people with his self driving cars and stupid ideas. Heâs an entitled dickhead and his wealth is mostly derived from colonial exploitation that his parents did. He does not pay enough taxes on what he earns. We need better inheritance laws and to close tax loopholes that allow him and people like him to hoard wealth.â
- E.g. âJeff Bezos exploits his workers and has an unfair monopoly over online shopping and other convenience services. He needs to pay his taxes and pay his workers more and we need better monopoly laws to stop businesses from being able to control the market like this.â
Also, please consider your motives:
- Are you trying to make a positive difference for, e.g. Amazon workers? Go ahead, raise awareness of their plight and push for unionisation.
- Are you just trying to find a group that is acceptable to hate? Stop right there and reconsider. No matter how privileged or powerful that supposed group, youâre wayyyyyy too close to bigoted talking points.
- Are you just making sweeping statements in order to rile up emotions and get people on your side? Thatâs fascist tactics. Please donât.
And especially,
- If you find yourself wanting to say, âIâm not antisemitic, butââ Please just donât say whatever you were going to say. If you have to make that qualification, there is an extremely high probability that what youâre about to say is, in fact, very antisemitic. Compare to âIâm not racist but-â or âIâm not transphobic but-â followed by the most vile bigotry youâve ever heard. Donât be that person.
Lastly I want to highlight these as well:
Absolutely correct. The amount of times Iâve come across online bigots who are like âGeorge Soros is funding BLM!â or âLGBTs are elites trying to plunge this country into immorality!â This is all antisemitism. In general just be wary of anyone wanting to blame âelitesâ or ârich peopleâ (yeah even that one cus historically Jews are stereotyped to have money!!! and also not all rich ppl are inherently evil!!!!) or âshadow governmentâ or âglobalistsâ or âlizard peopleâ or really, literally anything that seems to imply that a small, select group of people is secretly running the world: Thatâs antisemitism baby. Itâs all antisemitism. Itâs disgustingly common.
By all means, criticise billionnaires. But be specific. Itâs one of the best ways to make sure itâs not veering into antisemitism. We know who these billionnaires are, for the most part; we know their names and we know their crimes. Talk about them specifically.
It doesnât help if you just swap out âelitesâ with âbillionnairesâ or âthe 1%â if the rest of your rhetoric remains the same. It sounds exactly the same to antisemites, and they will feel empowered. In truth, it is much more complicated than âbillionnaires are running the world and fucking us all overâ; some billionnaires are using their fortune for good, and they donât directly cause our problems - they may exploit a system that was set up long before they were born, sure, but your problems are also caused by Sue from accounting and your neighbour ratting you out to the authorities and that kid across the road yelling slurs at you. Your problems exist because society lets them exist, and that includes everyone. The system makes it hard to fight this, and sure, most billionnaires donât help the issue. But again if youâre just looking for someone to hate on, itâs very likely youâre actually reinforcing oppression rather than âpunching upâ.
Sweeping statements are dangerous and a lot of your talking points have been used to justify genocide in the past. Just cus the worldâs been a lil less overt about its antisemitism post-Holocaust, does not mean antisemitism has disappeared, far from it. And itâs being revived at an alarming rate just now so please, Gentiles, pay attention to what the dogwhistles look like and donât reinforce harmful stereotypes.
Thank you.
PS: A few blogs that have helped me unlearn and unpack antisemitism are @spacelazarwolf, @hadeantaiga and @gehe-lihiyot-androgynos-varda with a special shout out to @softness-and-shattering for being very patient with me rambling about jewish/antisemitism related stuff in dms. Youre all soooo great n I appreciate you soooo much <3
Thereâs also lots of Jewish ppl in the notes of this post, Iâm sure a lot of them have lovely blogs to follow.
Thereâs some reading recs in the notes as well:
- Jews Donât Count by David Baddiel,
- People Love Dead Jews by Dara Horn,
- The Holocaust: A New History by Laurence Rees
I havenât read these books myself, Iâve read a preview of Jews Donât Count and itâs on my list of books to order when I have more money, but basically, go look at what actual Jewish folks have written on the subject, Iâm just a random Gentile who doesnât like bigotry so donât take it just from me.
